Our Story
No one sends a card to a mental health ward, so we came together as a group of women from Ffynnon Church, Llandysul, to change that.
We wanted to show love and support to women facing a dark and isolating time on a mental health ward. So we've come together to create heartfelt cards, and we worked with Lois Adams, a community artist to create prints - sharing messages of hope and positivity.
We also provide Bags of Hope with small items of comfort like fluffy socks, moisturiser, lip balm, chocolate and a hair brush. Little things that the women need on a ward, especially when they have been admitted in a Crisis.
We want to shine the light of grace, and help them feel less alone.
Some of us have faced this journey oursleves, so we wanted to share the hope that there is life waiting for them beyond the ward.
